[Gray x reader]
Warning: Mentions of depression
The starry sky shone upon you as you gazed up to the splendorous moon, eyes glazed with unshed tears. Your heart clenched in agony, but your face remained stoic; if only not to worry your teammates. Within the last couple of days, your behaviour had drastically changed, but if they had noticed, no comments were made. You silently thanked them; their generosity and compassion were something to admire.
A heavy sigh left your parted lips, and you glanced back towards your friends. They were chatting lightly, joyful smiles on their faces.
Watching them laugh so carefree, your stomach twisted in nostalgia.
When had you stopped sharing those cheerful moments at the end of a mission?
When had your laughter turned into sighs?
When had your smile faded into sour expressions?
You looked at him, and your heart gave a painful thump upon catching his full attention on the woman next to him.
Ah, yes. That depressed feeling had appeared just as fast as she had.
Three words she said, and Gray Fullbuster left you.
“I love you.”
And so, the ice mage had instantly stopped paying you any mind.
His smile, always full of love, wasn’t for you anymore. His eyes didn’t hold that affection they had for years whenever he spared you a glance; they were indifferent, cold even. And –oh, how much you wanted to cry your pain out– when those lips –the ones you’d never tasted, and never would– crashed on hers.
He had never known, he would never know.
He couldn’t know.
It didn’t matter anymore; he was so in love with that girl to care for your feelings.
You averted your gaze from him. It was so hopeless, what you felt for him. Yet, you couldn’t stop yourself from loving him with all your heart. And as the days went by, your depression would only increase.
Thus why, one day like any other, you decided you couldn’t take the sight of him loving someone else anymore.
“I’m leaving,” you said to your teammates.
No matter their tries, you had made up your mind. You picked up your belongings, turned away from your friends –from everyone you’d ever cared about– and left what you’d always call home.
He dared to approach you, however. Oh, how much you hated him for making a mess out of you, leaving you in a state of endless depression.
And he smiled; a friendly grin that only broke your heart and burned the pieces to ashes.
“Good luck, [Name].”
Gray then attempted to hug you, but halted at the unexpected glare thrown at him; you wouldn’t have him come any closer to you.
Three words you said, and you left him.
“I hate you.”

Do it Yourself. Gajeel x Reader
“It's about time you got here.” Sitting in a large armchair, just a few feet from your front door, Gajeel called out to you in a low voice. “You're late.”
Gajeel's loud, gruff voice echoing through your home, which you had expected to be empty, caused your heart to jump to your throat. What did he mean you were late? You hadn't made any plans with him. At least, you didn't remember making any plans with him. “Am I?” Playing along, at least for now, you looked up at your clock and shook your head. “I didn't plan on being back at a certain time, so I don't think I am.”

Gray Fullbuster x Reader - Spoke too soon
Everything was going smoothly on our way home from our two-week long mission. Lucy and I were up front, talking side by side about the new edition of Sorcerer Magazine while Natsu and Gray paraded behind us. They were bickering for the umpteenth time today about something that I didn't bother to pay any attention to. Happy was most likely walking beside them.
He wasn't too happy with me at the moment, as I had stepped on his tail by accident while trying to help out Natsu take down a monster. No matter how many apologies nor the amount of fish offered would let the little guy glance in my direction.

Gray x Reader (Fluff)
Gray flops down on his fluffy bed beside me, slinging an arm around my shoulders and nuzzling my neck. I laugh lightly, amused by my boyfriend's antics. "Hey."
His response is muffled by the sensitive plane of my neck, the feeling of his lips brushing against my skin making my heart flutter. "Hey, Princess." I pull away from him slightly, creating a few inches of space between us. "Gray, I love you, but we both know I'm not a princess." My lips curl into a wry smile, remembering more than one occasion that could prove what I just said; that time when I shoved a snowball down his shirt, the day I pushed him into a snow drift.... that oth

Technique & Impact: This writing style is so clean and neat, yet at the same time poetic. It really drew me in because the way everything flowed together, it was like something out of a professional novelist's works. Also, as person who suffers from depression, I related to the actual thought's of Reader-chan. It's a very accurate representation of what both the person with depression and the onlooker feels when they see someone with depression and didn't notice until it was to late; it makes a very stong impact. So kudos to you.
Originality: The writing is good, but the basic plot is a bit cliche. At least it makes it seem that way with her detached persona (Typical of people with depression). Though the details do help lift it out of rock bottom a LOT. So good job. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>
